I travel alot to usa and find i gain weight almost each and every time and im sick of eating junk food and buffet style meals over there. When i came home i decided to read your book and start taking better care of myself. I read this book at any given time " you are what you eat "! Its very true we are what we eat and we have no idea what we are actually doing to our sides.
I have suffered badly over the years with digestive problems. I have had my gallbladder removed due to gallstones. If only i knew about this book before i might have saved myself from suffering and i do believe, its what you eat that makes you so ill. I work nights and i find most diets are for people who work a normal day and people on nights find it very hard to deal with diets. So i decided to experiment with my food although i am a fussy eater.
I made sure i got myself a juicer machine and now i make my own carrot juice and other fruit and veg juices, it sure beats drinking a diet coke! I am now taking Spirulina herbal pills and can honestly say, the burning pains in my feet have disappeared. I dont eat alot of meat so i find taking Spirulina a bonus cause im getting all the protein and vitamins i need. Although i have been told i lack b12 from blood test and now i have to have b12 injections, Spirulina actually boost your b12 levels. I am due back to usa christmas time and this time i am going back healthy and will remain healthy while i am there.
This book will travel with me cause it gives me all the information i need to eat properly and look after my insides. I drink herbal teas alot during working night duty instead of guzzling coke to give me a fix, they are very frefreshing and lifts my spirits and moods when i feel tired. Thanks for the information in this book, it is now my bible !
