Hearty Miso Gravy Weight Loss Recipe
Ingredients:
1 TBL oil
1 med onion, chopped
3 tbl whole wheat flour
1 ˝ cup spring water
3 tbl barley miso dissolved in ˝ cup spring water
minced parsley for garnish
Method:
1. In a pot, sauté in oil until limp but not browned.
2. Reduce heat and stir in flour.
3. Cook gently for one minute.
4. Gradually add 1 ˝ cups water and cook gently until the mixture thickens.
5. dilute the miso with ˝ cup water and add the gravy mixture and simmer for 5 minutes.
6. Add minced parlsey and herbamere seasoning if desired.
